Who do you think RAB is? There are a lot of people who think it could be Regulus Black and there are ways that it can be but there are a lot of things pointing away from it. One of the main things towards it, is why would Sirius tell Harry about Regulus if he had nothing to do with the plot?
What do you think?

I think it being Regulus is a very good possibility, mainly because he's the only one I can think of with those initials. But JKR could just introduce a new character again. So really, I have no idea.

In the sixth book it says that the horcrux is a large locket type thing and when they're cleaning out the Black house they threw out a large locket, whether Kreacher took it or not, i don't know. But that could be the Horcrux that was destroyed and in the letter it said that by the time the dark lord read that letter he would already be dead. Whether this was because he knew the poison would kill him or because he knew Voldemort was going to kill him or what makes a big difference. Also Harry and Dumbledore show that you need two people to get into the cave to get the horcrux so if it was Regulus he wasn't alone but who was with him, Sirius?

Whoa, you did some good research!!! But Sirius can't have been in the cave, because he spent most of his adult life in Azkaban. Maybe Snape was with him. *Has now regained a tiny bit of hope that Snape isn't evil after all.* And Kreacher keeps all kinds of objects with him. Maybe there's a horcrux among them...

I think it is Regulus Black and that the locket is among the things in the Black house that have now been passed onto Harry.

Oh yeah that would work, if Snape was with him then that would be why he changed his ways and turned against Voldemort!! It makes complete sence, tee hee.
I don't think Snape is evil, i think that Snape was actually trying to trust Voldemort to help the order and that he made the unbreakable vow because it was the best thing to do and that he only killed Dumbledore because Dumbledore asked him to because he wanted to save his life. Yeap that's my theory anyway.

I was reading it and first Ron nearly died and i was like, NOOOOO! and then.. then -cries so hard- Draco nearly does. I actually couldn't read on after that -sighs- my mum was like what's wrong honey, and when i told her she just rolled her eyes (she just does not get Harry Potter, lol) but then i read on and found out he didn't die!! I was like YAY! AND then Dumbledore died and i cried again, d**n JKR! lol.
Yes i am an emotional girl!

I feel the same. The books are so good and realistic that the characters seem to be like real friends and when one of them dies it's like you just lost a friend.
